Our History in Houston Texas
The Smith family started in the automotive business in 1917 in Yorktown, TX. W.C. Smith moved to the Houston area and partnered with the Russell family in 1965 to form Russell & Smith Ford Inc. The dealership was originally located at 2201 Main Street in downtown Houston and was established in 1937 by John Ivy and Lindsey G. Russell.
Russell & Smith Automotive Group is now run by the fourth generation of the Smith family. The legacy continues to serve our customers with the quality of service they deserve in every aspect of our business 100 years and running.
